I was about 17 or thereabouts for the train tour. I had the honor of being front and center for the first stop of the tour. Much as I had come to see Arlo, Jack stole the show. I remember crying straight through his performance. It was absolutely stunned by the power and emotion that he sang it with. I was greatly saddened to hear of Jack's passing at Arlo's show in Illinois the next year. Thanks so much for this video. It brings back some incredible memories. Rest in peace, Jack.

Beautiful song! A song and it's lyrics floating beyond the years it was written to soften the blows of another bad time in someone's life. With our country's current situation it makes me wonder how many "new " hobos were created today. Thanks for posting this sweet song!

Tears of joy streamin'.
From the feelin' and the song.
One of the most beautiful songs ever!!!!
Let it flow, let it go.
One Love, Den
Oh Jackie! Truly one of the most touching vids you have posted from this amazing time in your lives. Jack almost breaking down was surely a testament to what you all must have been feeling inside between the smiles!
Thank You!
