  • @soft93machine You'll never wake up then, lol.

  • I <3 chiptunes! Wake me up when someone emulates this for Mac OS X

  • Yeah good old AY-YM sound...Not that bad as many poeples say.

It just needs to be well used.

  • 3 channels only and so good sound

  • @KaslarProductions only one noise generator, but you can put them on all 3 channels at the same time, you can have both tone and noise in one channal at the same time.

  • @fedepede04 Cool... I like that. I don't like sacrificing a channel just for noise on my c64...

Can the noise only be present in one channel at a time or do you have the option of thee tones plus 3 noise?.... or is there only one noise generator?

  • @KaslarProductions it has 3 channels and you can choose whether to play tone, noise or both, but the noise can not be counted as a channel for itself. the noise is only 64 steep, and if you choose, for example, noise in chanal a and b,but its the same noise. but you could make a player who had 3 channels of tone and a channel noise. so you could say it has 4 channels but it has only 3 channels.

  • @fedepede04 I thought ST had 3 channels + noise channel equaling 4 total.... and later models added 2 PCM channels

  • @Acadianiste

Only 3 channel...but you can manage to have 2 more tracks for digisamples if you are using MaxYMiser running on a STe with minimum 1mb of Ram (2MB recommended)

  • Great stuff!
