There's an add for it on the microsoft website. It says you can the home premium upgrade for 50 and the next upgrade for like 100$.
Perhaps it's US only.
-
uh is that US only? cuz I dont live anywhere near the US xD
and the RTM Ultimate version is going to cost around 300 dollars
-
You can preorder the home version for 50 dollars at best buy until july 11th.

hmm, the personalisation in W7 is exactly what I was hoping for.
I really think about upgrading after its release. (although I dont have the cash)

I'm sorry but when I tried Win7, I couldn't see anything special apart from a GUI upgrade.
Man it looks exactly like vista, can anyone tell me how this new system is security wise?

im running a newer build and its not bad security wise, although i cant really see a difference in vista. But i havent had a single virus since January so its all good :)

Seems to be, I got san andreas running on it; thats around 4 years old now I think. Depends on how old the game you are thinking of is lol.

Well, yes I'm thinking 90's old lol. Anyways, that's fine, there's always emulators like DOSbox & such. It is however if possible those games can play on native windows rather than emulator.

FF& is a 1997 game and it works fine :)
as long as the game had no problems on vista im sure it will probably work on this system.
