I cant imagine sitting on the end of a helo like the woman at the start, fucking scary if RPG hits us and we go down i'd fall out first. Or just fall of by accident.

I don't blame a lot of the guys a year into their tour feeling cynical and irritated as they are. COIN operations are simply not worth it without quality equipment and much more extensive support (including conventional air power). It's the right philosophy to win in Afghanistan, but it needs to have the right tools to succeed.
