okay have to comment again i love this vid and i cant believe how good it is. i wanna watch most the episodes now but i dont have time. i might watch Prophecy Girl. most likely. BEAUTIFUL video... Forget that Hank Summers guy. Giles was Buffy's real father... He was one of the reasons I became such a fan of this show. He's such a wonderfully sweet father figure... Giles and Buffy may not be related, but they're by far the greatest father/daughter relationship I've ever seen in fiction.

This was so amazing, I loved it. I haven't gotten up to 'Lies My Parents Told Me' yet... But I get the feeling it will rip my guts out. lol.

@51stcenturygirl Yes, definitely. I hate, hate, HATE 'Lies My Parents Told Me' for that reason - while I enjoyed Spike's character development there, I couldn't believe Giles would really do such a thing as he did there - almost ruined everything for me.

The Season 8 comics DO see them finally repairing their bond around Issue #20 I think (out of 40), but it takes THAT long, and I hate that it didn't happen in the show proper - I dislike switching mediums like that.

Amazing Job! Buffy & Giles' relationship was always my favorite! He was her father in every sense of the word! I'm actually really glad that I never started reading the season 8 comic b/c I don't think I could have handled what Joss appparantly did to them.

i loved their daughter/father relationship too. One of reasons I didn't like last two seasons was how badly they messed up their connection they established so strong before.
