Tim Hagans has formed a new quartet, and on October 11 he releases a new CD, THE MOON IS WAITING, on Palmetto Records. THE MOON IS WAITING features all original compositions by Tim Hagans performed by Tim Hagans, trumpet; Vic Juris, guitar; Rufus Reid, bass; and Jukkis Uotila, drums. In this video, the quartet performs "Ornette's Waking Dream Of A Woman" for the recording made at Maggie's Farm.

I'm another fan this guy is the real deal and can play effortlessly across a wide range of musical contexts ... and the space ship he's playing on looks interesting too.
Sounds like latter day Miles here .... especially around the 4.50 ... with the shards of sound
