This was performed durring an actual wican ceromony in west warren massachusetts in spring of 2000. I play my kit with an upbeat tempo that doesn't stop till the circle is wound tightly and then it unravels even faster. I only let you see the dance nothing else due to their beliefs and culture of being wican. This was not an open circle. It was a complete one with all the eliments in action with the goddess and goddesses. The video was shot on a full size vhs camera with the audio as exactly heard at the ceramony. I just played whatever came to me. Whatever I felt. Thats what is so cool for improving.

  • so these people worship witches? Whats the deal with this spiral dance?!?

  • They ARE Witches. The Spiral Dance is part of their ceramony to bring in the spring and to say goodbye to winter.

  • I pass this flame to you.

  • LoL

  • Actually, you're kind of right.

  • i wish i was there it looks like good fun!

  • No, I was joking. Because everyone is walking around in a circle, holding onto the persons waist in front of them. Looks like something I did in kindergarten...sorta like "follow the leader". Like when teachers want to make sure the kids don't get out of line, they make the kids hold hands or stand in a straight line and put their hands on the kid in front of them - they either place their hands on the shoulders or waist.

  • You were a Wiccan in Kindergarten? Cool...so was I.

  • Looks like something I did in kindergarten.

  • I'm wican:) the best and most piecful religion you can practice. I dont need a "bible" to believe in God!

  • The Goddess is alive and Majik is afoot

  • Listening and watching this is a rare (but will be repeated) privilege...thank you so very much for sharing! This is a Magickal time, and having such an artist present would be an unbelievable and powerful addition to a ceremony...

    Namaste'
