Thanks man... Just got my brothers weed and now I'm smoking it all... You kick ass...
-
I just was able to move the top over enough to open! The hook was moved far away enough from the pin to open! =^D
-
I used thin flat head screw driver or small cisors....and it open...just got 20 bucks for some beer lol
-
I NEED to open a sentry 1160- it's just a fire safe and should be easy but that trick will not open!!!
-
lmao, find a skinny knife with teeth all the ay to the end, put it into the lock thing teeth down, work it a little not to much pressure, if done right you can hear the teeth interact with the locks and walla. turn and open

After not finding any recall info, I threw mine out! You don't need fancy or professional locksmith tools to get this one open!
-
I don't know if it is any good for protecting things from fire either. All you have to do to open it is stick a key in the hole even part way. Wiggle it back and forth and try to open the lid while doing this!

i dropped mine from the table and it opened. yay!

This is the only post I have ever commented on but my passport was stuck in this thing... I just moved so i was ransacking boxes and no key. I literally used the tip of a knife. Only the 1st quarter inch and a little pressure. No picking required. I shouldve tried that first. Anyway, dont fret, get a pocket knife. Goodluck

BUT!

Why are you even bothering with those tools? On those 1100s, all you have to do is slide any flat tool, knife blade, kitchen knife in between the lid and the box and move the locking arm SLIGHTLY (maybe an 1/8") and the lid will open! That only takes 1/2 second.

Yep. But this is a picking video. Not a bypass. They are quite shitty.

Did I say it was? No, it is a terrible lock for security. The 4 bit version they make is just as easy to rake. I use an saw rake and 2 tension wrenches. Takes max 2 minutes (1250) Why does everyone need to spam this with comments like "Uhhhhhh, I have no brain" There is no need. Thanks
