  • i cant stand some people saying how easy it is to snowboard en then they think they can do everything on a board!! but i agree that going down a slope and hitting a slope with style and technique is harder so just take lessons like these people did,oh yea try to bend your knese more :)

  • I learned to jump and ride after 6 hours or so. Had some help from riding skateboards before though

  • @zonnic1 go down a red run and beeibng able to ride a snowboard well is 2 very different things.. We went off-piste and on red JUMPS and learned how to butter/switch riding and have way more board control..!!

This is after just 4½ hour of snowboard instruction from ESF guide in Les Arcs...

So I still think that a instrutcor for 2-4 hours is money WELL spent if you wanna learn and learn the correct way and KNOW the technique rather than just beeing ABLE to go down a red run..!!

  • @minit55 An instructor? nowai, Ive snowboarded for the first time 4 hours straight, after that I could go down a red run.

  • i picked it up quickly and i honestly think skiing helps the most because u already have experience with the feeling of riding. Ive been skiing since i was 2 and a half and i finally started boarding when i was 14 so i really think it was skiing that helped...but i skate also which helps a little since snowboarding and skating are pretty different

  • @13Eminem1397 As they say in this clip.. 3 days is what it takes for you to "learn" to go down the hill..!! After that you just get better and better..!! AND like MIKE THE MAN says.. ALLWAYS get a instructor the first days...!!

  • Ah my first time making it down the slope without falling made me feel like a million bucks!

  • A death preventer haha

  • ive gone 3 times and i love it soooooo much!!!!!! i cant wait for november!!
