This clips shows you my computer karaoke setup. I run two monitors; main is 24" LCD monitor connected by VGA cable and the second monitor is my Sony 48" LCD TV connected by HDMI cable. I am using a NVidia GeForce GT 430 Graphics Card. The Sony LCD TV is connected to a PA System by a Red and White RCA cable from the TV audio out sockets. The PA System is connected to surround sound system by Red and White RCA cable.

The alternative is to use the LCD/Plasma as your only monitor - connect with a VGA cable for video and connect the green 3.5mm stereo audio socket on your computer to the PA system using a 3.5mm stereo to Red and White RCA cable.

Connecting to surround sound is optional!
I do it because the surround sound has excellent bass, plus speakers in all corners of the room

actually was expecting for what karaoke software i was going to use, and if i needed a CDG ...

the title is misleading as this setup is just standard multiscreen output .. ( FYI nvidia 430 has audio out in hdmi so you dont need the RCA Cables , you should check out your playback devices and put default audio in to the hdmi tv )

but either case i have a similar set up at home, i have a samsung syncmaster series 9 27s950a monitor and a samsun series 5 40 inches with VCard gts450

  • first :)
