First start FJ60 with fresh 350 small block TBI

fresh rebuild on a 350 TBI by me. bored .40, comp 4x4 truck cam, vortec heads, block hugger headers, no exhaust yet

it was the COMP Cams 12-235-2 - Xtreme 4x4 Camshafts. Duration 254/262, Lift .447/.462,

this is bigger than recommended. If you have to pass smog like i did, this cam isn't the right one. Thankfully, before i had time to pass smog, i flattened the lobes thanks to an improper break in process on my part. But while it ran, i had a great sound and a great rumble at idle.

yea, well im getting a custom chip that will correct for my mods. but it does kinda run like crap. only getting like 70% of the power cause the engine isnt getting enough fuel.

What all have you modified on the tbi system? like as far as fuel system and is your cam advanced or @ 0??? Im having trouble finding a fairly lopey cam that the tbi will bare with LOL

a cheap way to get more fuel is disconect your oxygen sensors it should be a purple wire or to buy bigger injectors for the throttle body which will also make you get better throttle response along with the headers it shoud be great!

what are you doing about tuning the prom with all those mods? Its not gonna run good without a tune.
