@Bellvista2 You would be well served to read some of the many human rights reports generated from the Gaza massacre. This would allow you to form a better opinion of the investigative methods used to disprove the claim of human shields by Hamas in most cases where civilians were killed. While I understand the scenario you are presenting, when the hospitals, schools and Mosques were bombed, there were no Israeli troops engaged on the ground. Just because the US used WP, does not make it legal.

If your God is in the real estate business and your Bible tells you that it is appropriate to do what is being done to the Palestinian people, then you should by all means support Israel. However since I am not subservient to any religion, but rather my morality, I will choose not to.

@kelema2011 Yep, they sure did...restraint from bombing hospitals, schools and Mosques (with white phosphorus in some cases). Figure if they killed 1400 people and half of them were civilians, that must be "restraint" by any standard? This is like saying Hitler showed restraint by not wiping out all the Jews!

Bottom Line: 2 years from op. "cast lead" passed with virtually no fire, until half a year ago, when they did fire some grads at Beer Sheba and Ashkelon(maybe Raphael actually payed them for the QA of Iron Dome..). So yes, a lot of ppl were killed and injured, but the operation was a military success as it achieved its stated goal( to stop rocket activity from the strip). The message "don't shoot and we don't or either shoot and get yourself killed", was delivered, received and understood.

this is a pro palestine video but the same thing happens to israeli when gaza sends their bombs so this is going on, on both side but if gaza accept a jewish state like the UN did,this includes u.s.a and russia. and france.and alot more countries peace would rest for each family . now u say ya but that was palestine country ,NO it was jews and arabs living their for generations ,jews was living their to and they had the right for their own country which we have a historical evidence of being jew
