The Documentary Film Invisible Neighbors presents the stories of Romanis living in the Parisian Suburbs largely unseen and ignored by the local community.
It provides a short and intense insight into the lives of one of the many marginalized migrant communities living scattered among the outlying districts of Europe's cities and towns. One day they are here, the next day they've vanished and nobody seems to know anything about them...

Ja wir kommen aus Deutschland und sprechen kein Romanes (die Übersetzungen aus dem Romanes und dem Rumänischen haben wir später mit Muttersprachlern gemacht), aber auf Französisch und Spanisch konnten wir uns ganz gut verständigen. Und ja, es ist echt unglaublich wie mobil die Roma teilweise sind und wie marginalisiert noch immer in Europa... Wir hatten eine sehr positive Erfahrung beim Dreh in diesem Roma Camp vor den Toren von Paris und bedanken uns noch Mal bei allen Mitwirkenden!

@lillerbutton ah ich seh schon, es wird ja gesagt, sie sind aus deutschland... sprechen sie auch romanes? echt interessant die interviews, gibt einen einblick, wie die menschen echt ständig woanders sind und versuchen, geld aufzutreiben oder ein besseres leben zu finden... und sowas wird dann faul genannt?

where were the interviewers from? tehy spoke many languages... the roma as well... its so terrible they have no way to get out of that situation... and impressive how they are still so friendly and open and seem rather happy
