*** GO TO MY CHANNEL TO SEE IT GO! ***
my tractor i've been working on. made with 40 ft. of angle iron, 1" and 1.5", and 20 ft. of flat stock. 4" pulley at crank to a 5" at the jackshaft, then a 4" from the shaft to a 3.5" the rear end has about a 23:1 ratio so in all a 25:1 final drive. disconnected the governor and made a small piece of linkage that directly connects the throttle to the throttle blade on the carb. has a seat, shifter, horn, spoiler, dui plates, and brakes now. another video soon.

  • Go to my channel to see videos of the tractor in action.

  • how fast did it go with the pullys switched the other way

  • @musician1232 Actually, it would only go downhill, the belts couldn't grab the other way. Watch my other videos on the jackshaft setup and the new 3-speed transmission to learn more about it.

  • verere che cammina no eh?

  • great work! that briggs motor is a rare engine also

  • Killer action for just a small engine and some flat stock

  • I have been building 'fun/racing' mowers for over 24 years. My first on reminds of yours. I had the gear shifting working, but no brakes. Put on your brake linkage. My Dad came home and was wondering why I was painting the racer flat black. And then, he walked straight to the new propane truck he had bought and saw Wheelhorse Red on the side of the tailboard. Needless to say, I lost control and he tanned my hide..lol! You have a good start on some fun!
