  • This is not a review m8, its a descriptive diagnosis and plot spoiler of the whole movie.

  • @Riimmdogg I like to think of them as "video essays".

  • My dad was the doctor's assistant who injects the 3 models haha. He's even on the DVD case in the middle bottom....and my mom was an Amazonian mermaid......terrible movie though haha :p

  • @JaredPKBC Damn! So did they meet on set?

  • @JaredPKBC You are so lucky,I loved this movie when i was a kid you wouldn't believe! I liked it some much i bought a field sequential player and a VHD rip to DVD so i could watch it in 3D. I knew it was kind of a rip off of mad max but in a child's eyes it was the greatest!

  • What? He didn't think the pasty grub people were irresistibly sexy?

  • @TitanFind Skeletor just wants attention.

  • Oh, I guess that's actually "wistful", but I like the idea of a music score that encourages a card game drive attended by middle-aged women.

  • A lot of villains have illogical motivations. For instance, consider Skeletor's worthless campaign to defeat He-Man, on a peaceful, spacious, sparsely-inhabited world. He could just as easily build some kind of large estate and leisure complex, and be prosperous, successful and well-liked, instead of pursuing ridiculous schemes to defeat a small number of self-generated enemies, abetted by a group of incompetent buffoon lackeys.

  • I have a real soft spot for this movie. By any objective metrics, it's mediocre, yet somehow the whole is more than the sum of the parts. One of the keystones is Bernstein's score, which is way above average for a "me too" genre movie. Lots of whistful and melancholy cues in there.

I laughed at the section on Overdog McNab's bizarre motivations in becoming unquestioned patriarch of a total shithole.

  • Haha! C.H.U.D!

  • @sweetpeaginnis my mistake ma'am. much obliged none the less.
