Letters to Cleo: It's 1995, pre Lilith Fair, at the height of alternative music and indie rock. This is a promo from the rock-documentary that follows three women musicians for three years in the roller-coaster youth-oriented music business.

  • Letters to Cleo... Real talent. Freshness, and good memories...

But what happened to them, first not to be known as much as they would have deserved it, then to separate?...

A feeling of something missed or wasted...

  • That's Joe Bonni at 0:40 ..He used to run the Pit Report zine back in the 90's..Classic Boston right there.

  • If pot is dangerous, alcohol is the anti christ seriously, I know way more people who have problems because of drinking or a loved one drinking in excess. Whether they're addicted, become violent and black out while being drunk or overdose [you can overdose on alcohol]. The only problems people who smoke weed in excess have they eat too much, are lazy, and don't leave the house. NEVER has there been a time a child got beaten because they're father got black out stoned. Why? It isn't possible!

  • "It's not a war against drugs, it's a war against personal freedom" - Bill Hicks

  • i was at this hempfest...we have it every yr in boston.good times everyone gather's in the common's and smokes a bunch of pot.

  • ummm pot alters the way people behave so ya people kill people and pot contributes to people behaving in certain ways.... pot is still dangerous to a persons health and at this point it funds gangs, drug lords, murderers and all sorts so its not good... to say it is, is silly.

  • Because economically it would help us a lot to have a pot tax added to the system. However, most people who smoke regularly already have easy access to it, so they probably wouldn't pay for it.

And the pot smokers I know aren't like that... I think you're generalizing. And anyway, what's that the NRA says? Guns don't kill people; people kill people. You should blame the person for the bad things they do, not the pot. If a person decides to do pot, they're responsible for themselves.

  • problem with pot smoking is not only that its unhealthy, but it can create dangerous individuals.. half my friends are pot smokers and they vandelize, steel, and are getting dumber by the minute. Why should the government legalize a drug that hurts people.. makes no sense!

  • But it's not about that. It's about people being able to do what they want to do. It's not your decision if people smoke or not; don't like, don't smoke. I'm not a pot smoker (I have asthma), but I'm all for civil liberties.

You may argue that pot-smoking's not smart, and frankly, it's not good for you, but neither is junk food, but it's not illegal.

  • yeah man!
