Philippine Air Force S-211 jet vs twoUSAF A-10s dogfight

2V1 Air Combat Manuevers between two (2) a-10s and an S-211. S-211 callsign bulldog 424 executing Hit & Switch manuever and pressing the attack against two A-10s callsign Pilsung during an air combat exercise at IMTA 1. Front pilot (student pilot) taking video unable to cope up with the sustained-g, suffered a black out during the engagement and was unable to film the entire engagement.

real pilots train in simulators too you know. even shuttle landings for astronauts, ship docking, fire control tank maneuvers. dont be too hard on gamers. there are even weapons systems that has Playstation-like controllers.

I am a gamer too and fly real simulators and PC simulators. I agree with you, i was just explaining that there is something into it that is not present in real air combat such as the real feel of the "G", GLOC and limitation of the aircraft especially if you are fighting a two element bandit. You may watch the other videos uploaded and you may read both of our posts and this will clear things up.

@EXmachbuster G-loc is also simulated though in pc games. and by learning some stuff may natutunan din ako. of course after a simple dogfight na tatagal lang ng 5 mins eh hihingalin at papagurin ang kahit sinong tao.

for me kahit anung PC game sim, i strain perfect the basic, landing, take off mark1 EB navigation(walang gamitan ng gps/ins, map at mata lang). which actually has no g based physical strain.

if i end up in the military of course, dun ko hahasain physcality at dogfight skills diba?

yes kaso screen lang mag black out sa G-LOC pero in real life pag black out and gray out real talaga. Sa sim pag "0" g manuever parang wala lang pero nakakasuka na yun lalo na pag negative g. Well its nice to play on the sim, pero just imagine nasa elevator ka or ferris wheel mararamdaman mo G. Pag sa real aircombat at i try mo i sustain khit 4 to 5 gs for a few seconds ibang usapan na yun. Of course pag mag military pilot ka you will be train lalo na pag sa fighters ka ma assign.

@shaider1982 as of now. Only 1 C-130 is operational. but 2 C-130's are coming. One being refurbished in Clark and one from the US. And yes. Some s211's were modified to carry bombs. They call it AS-211 Warriors. Only a few of them are modified.

@shaider1982 I know. did i say that it is like the f16? Im just telling the guy that A-10's can carry sidewinders. and in this video? S211 is only a trainer plane. so i think there is no problem in matching these two planes in a dogfight. and in fact. US is the one who suggested these dogfight exercise. and the guy below. do you believe that he is a pilot? by the way, I work in the PH air force so i knew all of this stuff.

@Ehmirmcr Just because the A-10 can carry AIM-9's doesn't mean it is a jet fighter. True, it is maneuverable but it doesn't have the thrust to weight ratio of something like a F-16.
