MISSION ARCHULETA II: HURRICANE DOLLY - TEXAS TOUR

Hey everyone this is Monica again, I just got back from vacation and thought I'd share with you our experience. Well let's start with when we went to South Padre Island and got caught in the middle of Hurricane Dolly: Well Dolly really wasn't supposed to be as strong as she was going from a tropical storm to a category 1 hurricane that quickly turned into a category 2 when it actually hit the Island. I really didn't think much of it until the electricity and our running water went out but what really hit me was when we began to feel the hotel building kind of sway. OMG that was pretty scary but anyways, we got evacuated to the 2nd floor and stayed there for over 8 hours. Then we had to stay the night there until the bridge opened up the next morning. Dolly was the hardest hitting hurricane that SPI has ever went through supposedly, being knocked out of of electricity for more than 2 weeks and well you can just say it is really a disaster. On the news they said it was now infested with snakes, tarantula's and fire ants due to all the flooding. I thank god for protecting us through this whole terrifying experience and all the way back home! But anyways, while we were on vacation we went around promoting David Archuleta to many people, but sadly we didn't have time to post everyone we interviewed due to the time limit. :(

omg u guys should get a BIG standing ovation for doing such a fantastic job on promoting David!!! your other video was spectacular too! but this one is just so so so special because even though there was a hurricane going on, you guys still didnt stop spreading the word about him! i love u guys and i hope that u guys get to meet him! i'm sure he would be speechless if he sees these videos!!!
