He obviously didn't want to deny minorities anything, and anyone that knows anything about him knows that. The Civil Rights Act allows the government to legislate morality on its people and force the private sector to hire people based on race/sex/religion etc. Not saying it didn't do any good, but in principle you can't tell a free society who they can and cannot hire and serve.

Driving home yesterday, listening to PBS News about Student Protest in Turkey because of corrupt Goverment. Asked Why Students in the USA were not "Speaking Out" & "Standing UP" to make sure that Corruption from the Departing BUSH ADMIN is kept in check & that OBAMA Does What He SAYS!
