Reels are not generally played with swing - maybe Holotyos means 'lift'. Reels usually are played with notes of pretty even length, and without the swing associated with hornpipes. that's not to say that a bit of swing can't add to a tune, but I don't think swing (as usually defined by musicians) would be regarded as ubiquitous.
Lift on the other hand IS. Maybe your playing of this tune could do with a little more lift. Keep it going, not bad playing.

Good fingers but not always with the tongue. Playing lacking swing and not always in tune... In Irish music as in every trad music the spirit (rhythm and expression) is most important than melody line and speed. Just be a few less hasty to reach the end of your tune and it will sound great!
