Grand Canyon of Pennsylvannia - Wellsboro, PA

In the event you heard about this place and decide to set sail to check it out, here is a preview of what you will see. the downhill Trek took about 30 minutes to complete, but uphill was a different story. It took about 1 hour and many breaks. Make sure when you plan for this trip, you bring some water (which none of us had), and a walking stick helps... as you can see, we eventually found some sticks but it did take awhile to find them.
This video is more geared towards the 3 other people that took this journey, unless you plan to site see this place.
The day we went, the air was infested with flies... i never saw so many flies at the same time before until this day.
Wellsboro PA, is North West of the state and it's the place where they host the STPR auto Rally. There are a few other things to do like camping, hiking and fishing and the fact there is no poison ivy in the woods, makes it a great place to escape from time to time.

is it illegal to pitch a tent not a t the campground, just in the deep woods somewhere and stay for a couple days?

@tylerpmac - i have no idea, but i think it's ok as long as you clean up after yourself. the homeless do it all the time, people only complain when it starts stinking and looking like a landfill.

I would be weary of where you go, my fear is comin accross a bear or somethin wild and dangerous.

the camp ground we stayed at was called - canyon country and it's real cheap.

A lot of play on the way down.. not so much on the way up? LOL My bf and I did this trail a lot last spring We're actually preparing to do a weekend trip of the west rim trail. I Love that you guys took "the road less traveled" several times. Thanks for sharing the video!

I grew up in Wellsboro but had been gone for 15 years..... went home in June n hiked that darn trail!! Loved going down great views!! Hated coming back up again lol!! Love the close up of Colton Point you got!!

I grew up in Wellsboro and the Turkey Path at the Grand Canyon was one of our favorite places to go. After we moved to Kansas, we took our kids back so they could go down the path. This brought back many memories.
