I met JD Sumner in the early 70's and his voice is low...the story goes...he could sing at least four octaves off the keyboard...now that's low.

I read somewhere that J D SUmner's voice is so deep that not even modern altering sound technology can reproduce a lower voice than JD Sumner's.
