Lakeville -- A Natural Resource Management Activity is a multi-disciplinary unit about Florida ecosystems, natural resource management (i.e., invasive species), and civic responsibility. The Unit ends with a fun game-show style activity that gives students a chance to use their persuasive debate skills and make management decisions about a local freshwater habitat. The goal is to prepare students for their future roles as citizens and environmental stewards.

The Lakeville Unit is aligned to Common Core State Standards and Next Generation Sunshine State Standards for grades 4th -- 12th.

Teaching Kits are available on loan to Florida teachers and for purchase. Each Kit includes everything you need to complete the entire Unit -- in full-color and laminated for durability.
