@corunguneee Also the commentators seem to be mentionning Begin's name as the hit is delivered and I do believe they are about to say he's going to get a penalty as the video ends. It sounds more like Bergeron but there wasn't a Bergeron on either side of the ice so the closest thing would be Begin, they just didn't know how to mention the guy's name. I can't say for 100% sure it's Begin, but I'm 100% sure it's not Koivu. Next time make your vids with a higher quality to avoid people like me. :P

@MyHeadAsplodes They're talking about MA Bergeron. This happened trade deadline 2008 when the Islanders traded Chris Simon (who the commentators mention) and Bergeron. It's Koivu, his linemates are on the ice. Begin didn't play on the first line with Higgins and like I said, I watched this game and uploaded it that day. no one can even tell what # it is, how do you know it isn't 11 lol. 1) The guy is clearly bigger than Koivu

2) His jersey number is not 11. You can see it when he spins after the check.

One line was on one minute prior and 30 seconds after this hit (from nhl.com). They were: #54 - Grabovski, #73 - Ryder, #26 - Georges, #32 - Streit, and #51 Boullion (plus Price). I can't tell who it is, but it's not Koivu or Begin. My guess is Grabovski.

@corunguneee Nah man, I don't know who you are trying to fool here, but it's clear that the guy who delivered this check came from the bench, hence it would mean that Koivu's line was changing while in the offensive zone, giving way to another one. I'm pretty sure that is Steve Bégin, it suits him more and he was playing for Montreal back at the time. He did lots of hits like this, it was his trademark, kinda like Scott Steven's open ice hits on the blue line. I'm pretty sure I see #22, not #11.
