Uzeyir Hajibeyov is one of the greatest azeri composers of all time.
was born in September 18, 1885, Agjabadi in the Karabagh region of Azerbaijan.

Video was shot on the 18 september(Day of Azerbaiajani Music) 2004 in the Philharmonic Hall of Baku/

Conductor Mstislav Rostropovich, who was also born in Azerbaijan.

@MrSamoorian And if you think that Christians live in terror in Azerbaijan and Turkey, I advice you to go Middle East and see with your own eyes how christians live there. I want to say that I dont hate any Armenian or Christian or Jews. I want to live in peace as we lived in the Soviet Union and respect each others culture. I love music and doesnt matter who composed that music. I will not look to nationalty of the composer.

@MrSamoorian I know my own history better than you. Soviet Republic is part of our history. Soviet education was one of the ladders in our history, nothing more.We had many poets, thinkers in our history. Also Genghis Khan and Ataturk has no any relation to our history. We hate Genghis Khan as you, but will not say the same thing about Ataturk.
