4/20/2008: Jonathan Papelbon gets David Murphy to pop out to Jed Lowrie for the final out of the Red Sox' 6-5 victory over the Texas Rangers. You can also see Julio Lugo making a rare appearance in left field as Manny Ramirez was ejected earlier in the game. I took this video from the Green Monster Seats.

He was rung up on a called third strike, he said something as he was walking back to the dugout, and the umpire ejected him almost immediately. He must have said the magic words. Joe Thurston ended up batting clean-up in place of him. I sincerely hope we never see that again.

i watched this game and i thought lugo was going to take out lowrie on that last play b/c he knows that lowrie is going to be better and doesnt want to lose his job
