the four known moons are already visible to the naked eye, so why should we wait Galileo to discover them? can someone tell me why?

i was able to see all 4 of them (was really lucky) with a good pair of binoculars, ableit the moons were fainter... here the result is much better with a good telescope

Sorry as I do not know, as I piggy backed some music off an internet steam. I did not write the name of the music down.

you should invest in a nice set of filters.
How close can you zoom in on jupiter itself?

I posess a few filters acually, some of the videos are through filters. My favorite is the Celestron 58A. I have the Orion Mars filter and a moon filter. I have the same experince with them, the red one just colors planets red, the yellow one colors them yellow. Doesn't matter because the camera is black and white. So I use whats best.. The more you zoom in on Jupiter, and the stronger the magnification, the more the atmospheric disturbance blurrs it. So I just put the camera on the scope.
