I don't know, I don't think that a bike like that would serve me very well, I suppose someone who lives in a city with public transportation would like it so they could easily fold it up at the bus stop or train station and take it with them.
Me I like at least 26" wheels under me, and a base sufficient for my bulk, not everyone is kid sized.
