Billionaire investor Carl Icahn on Wednesday reported raising his stake in Motorola Inc. (MOT) to 7.6% from 6.4%.

Motorola Inc. (MOT) received a $20 million modification to a previously awarded contract for handheld radios to support the Enterprise Land Mobile Radio infrastructure. The cumulative value of this contract, including this modification, is $43.1 million. Work is expected to be completed by September 2009.
