Today the Portal 2 SDK Beta (authoring tools) was released for the public! If you own Portal 2 and feel somewhat creative you should absolutely download it!

I threw this map together just to try out the basics, so nothing advanced here to see really.

Acronym for software development kit, a set of tools that allow you to develop your own things, such as maps, etc.

if you just bought portal 2 and got sdk.and you don't know what to do go to valve developer community.go to the portal 2 level design category.and find the tutorial you want to pick.remember this sdk is free for portal 2.but you need portal 2 to get it.

Thanks. I had no idea that "tools" section existed on Steam. Pretty thrilled to use this SDK.
