For me their 1st Lp, Limping for a generation has to be their best. Less easily accessible and glossy than their later, more successful albums, it's definitely worth a little time and investment, assuming of course that you can find it!

@johnmcboston I actually preordered through the BlowMonkeys website, and because I did so my payment went to help them pay for the making of the Devil's Tavern ... incidentally my name is now in the liner notes.... cool! I checked out ebay and there were no copies ... so perhaps it is only import.

loved this band in the 80's..had their first 2 albums...animal magic was great...best song on that though was Aeroplane City Long Song...awesome song.......very stylish band, very polished sound.......cool videos....top notch British Glam/fashion/new romantic Pop.......I loved every minute of it.
