No this is not a Janis Joplin blues song and the song gains nothing in this rendition. Nice try though I suppose. Part of being a good singer is knowing what style to use on which song. She should learn this aspect of it.

He and Pete made the whole sound of the Flying Burrito Brother come to life.
Great songs...great steel and R&B bass in country based music really made
it a unique sound......
