actually an easier way is to plug the matrix in at the beginning as a 4 x 5. (Pretend the dashed line is gone.)
Hit rref:. Plug in A. it gives the same answer in a gazillion less steps

@McFacecriminal: Just a warning...you don't always get the correct answer when you do it that way. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I'm sure there's a reason for it, but I just haven't sat down and tried to figure out why this is the case. (When it works, though, you're right - it's much quicker and easier.)
