THIS is what it's like to fly like a bird (or, at least, a very strange bird). The shot is designed to make you feel like you're right up there with me. Be careful, you might get dizzy.
This camera's wide-angle lens is from one of the first GoPro HD cameras sold in America. I pre-ordered it, went out for a test run, and was so happy with the results that I made a video of it. Now everyone has a GoPro! Damn it!
The GoPro HD camera is now a staple among all action sports. It captures the whole scene; from the wing dipping down to the horizon to the ground spinning below to the pilots legs swinging in the breeze. No straight lines on THIS flight.

  • Paul, PLEASE !

At 0.58 - 0.59, you pull "something" off your wing, and got the "big ears". What do you pull ?

    Big thanks from France,

    Rodolphe

  • Rudolphe. I simply pull the lines that are attached to the wing tips (the outer "A" lines). I have "split A risers" that makes big ears easy. I think many but not all wings have "split A's".

  • Wonderfull vid, Paul. May be one of the best I have ever seen about our so nice sport !

Please can you describe me exactly what is your video equipment Arm, camera, and so on when you are filming towards back, you in first plan Big thanks, and good flights. A kisses from France. Rod
