May 6 2006 - The legendary, luminescent Rick Berlin performs solo at Johnny D's (Davis Square, Somerville MA). In this clip, Rick performs a very special tune that he doesn't play anymore. The song pays homage to Neil Hughes, one of the fourteen British children selected to participate in the longest documentary in the world. Back in the 1960s, filmmakers chose children from different social classes and followed their lives on film. Neil Hughes's life turned out to be the most colorfully unexpected carnival ride.

Rick Berlin's corner of the web is at www.rickberlin.com. Buy "Me and Van Gogh" and the latest, "Old Stag."
