Watch as Jill, a smiling employee of the Ohio Dept. Of Wildlife and the Castalia Fish Hatchery place about 750 Rainbow Trout in Yoctangee Park Lake in Chillicothe, Ohio on March 26, 2009. Many had driven to fish immediately after they released the fish, only to find out the Chief of Police posted no fishing signs until the kids fishing derby, Saturday morning which ends at noon Some drove three hours to fish. They were mad that there was no posting online about the no fishing policy till Saturday @ noon.
Jill, the ODNR worker took the brunt of the mad fisherman with grace, saying she knew nothing of it. It's like being mad at the messenger. She just smiled. It's great to be able to have a fishing derby for the youngsters. It's a shame to see grown adults act like kids when they were told no fishing.
Some people fished anyways, tinkering with what could be an expensive ticket. Many thanks to the Castalia Hatchery from Sandusky, Ohio who drove 4 hours to get here.
I am the dumb ass who paid for the fish along with the other licenced fisherman. I hope the trout farm does not bring fish to the park next year since the park system pulled a fast one this year.

Hey Glenn, thanks for stopping by. It was fun to do this. There were maybe 20 people who got there to fish for those trout and they drove 3 hours to get here and they had to leave. I loved it. I just like to see people get bad news. Made my day. Besides it's for the kids fishing derby Saturday morning. They want the trout to relax after their long ride here from Sandusky Ohio.
