  • Would you just fuck off with your 'political correctness'? If people say it doesn't sound right then it doesn't fucking sound right.

Nobody is saying it to be sexist, she just isn't very good. Jesus, fuck off.

  • Oh god somebody shut her up! Her squealing voice is enough to give anybody a splitting headache!

  • Still better than all the ITV commentary crew.

  • Shrieking hell

  • Whether she is any good at this job or not is debatable. I think she's a perfectly fine commentator but that's just personal oponion.

However, there is one irrefutable fact: she is better than John Motson. And if John Motson can still keep his job as a BBC commentator, despite being painfully bad, then I don't see why Jackie Oatley can't do the same job.

  • I think these sexist comments are disgraceful. Show some respect, its nearly 2012!! Besides, she is doing a great job. Its not easy commentating AND doing the ironing at the same time, fair play to her.

  • She sounds better than every yank commentator i've heard. It would have taken some getting used to, but not bad at all.

  • I think she was ok commentator even though im a guy. Stop discriminating guys we live in 2011..

  • I was at this game

  • Comon, it's really not THAT bad, I have nothing against female commentators aslong as they are passionate about football and have the skill to match the others at BBC.

  • Eh, she's got the words, but there's just nothing behind the voice. You don't get the excitement from the goal that you'd normally get from another commentator. Though gender has nothing to do with it; it's just that she's a rather average commentator.
