  • Thanks for the wonderful video! I open the bills at work and have been saving the return env. for recycling & I have alcohol inks so i can't tell you how pleased i was to see you apply these inks to the env. Will be doing that soon! Subbing & looking forward to more of your videos!

  • @loststamper Wow, you have access to so many cool envelopes...your journal will be great. You will have fun with the windows and alcohol inks, so many effects can be achieved with them. They work great on your acrylic paints too. HAVE FUN.

  • @SandraDin100 I used a 2 ply paper sack, covered a lot of it with tissue paper. Rather than glue the 2ply bag together I used a piece of tissue paper to cover a portion of the front then adhered some of that same piece to the back...all around the edges,so in effect the tissue paper carried as one piece from front to back seals the edges. I used matte medium to adhere the tissue paper, then some paint and a little gesso. A final coat of medium and the cover is vey sturdy. Hope this helps.

  • I'm not clear how to make the cover. It looks like you are using a harder stock cover than a paper bag?? I LOVE this journal.

  • @sogua2000 Thanks...save your mail!

  • @1997marguerite Thank you so much, hopefully the Art shops will get it....would love to see one of yours...these are my new passion, I could play with them all day.
