@nethour I agree with you!!! He sound much better than Elton John, and gives a better feeling to the tune. don't you think so? I love Tom Chaplin's voice. He got something very special in his voice!!! I am in love with his voice.

@samsbro1952 I hadn't thought of it that way. I've noticed Tom tends to sing cover songs very gently, I wonder if perhaps he tends to be a bit too reverent of the originals and afraid to really let his own voice shine on them? But it could be as you said he just wants to bring a different emotion to the songs.
