  • @bren29 Thanks man! Never had that explained to me. Although I live in Arkansas, so not many people know about Cali regs here.

  • @WPFD451 - It was put in place long ago, when most emergency vehicles had just one rotating light that would rotate very slowly, so you couldn't always tell if the light was on or not. It became law when a criminal running away from the police claimed he didn't pull over because he didn't see any flashing lights from the police car following him. This hasn't been an issue in a long time since lightbar technology has improved.

  • @Bren29 I just don't know the purpose of title XIII (13). I know it says you have to have steady burn red on the front of a vehicle responding to an emergency. I'm just curious as to what purpose this serves, or why this regulation was put in to place.

  • @WPFD451 - Can you explain what you mean?

  • @Bren29 Can you explain title XIII to me?

  • @quadkid4 You're looking in the 6 to 800 range. Sound off makes some great low profile 12 head product.

  • how much did that longer stick cost?

  • @Bren29 thats only ment for police. you wont be getting pulled over by EMS

  • I'm surprised there is no steady burning red light.
