  • So great to hear a young pianist who doesn't play like a robot.

There certainly more taste and artistic expression here than most other "brilliant young pianists" seem to have access to.

  • i love claire de lune. i love suite bergamasque! i love rafal blechacz playing! It's so emotional!

  • If this is from the winner's concert, why is it just sound and not the video like all of the other videos from that concert on here. Even if it is him, why would he throw in a Debussy piece at the end of an entire Chopin music concert? Something smells fishy.

  • Rafal plays it so well... *drools*

  • This man is amazing: one keeps returning to this piece played by him and it's equally moving, every time.

  • WOW. I was just bathing in the moonlight on a windy night. Having my heart broken.

  • He plays the entire suite in an awe-inspiring way. If he wants to, Blechacz can be the greatest Debussy interpreter since Michelangeli and Gieseking.

  • What an awesome gift you are to the world!

  • @dancingwithoutwords Right... Love might be blind, but it certainly isn't deaf. If you need proof, this looks very much like a Steinway D-model, doesn't it? watch?v=DVHiOZbPCaw Last time I've checked these were built either in New York, or Hamburg.

  • The attitude is playful, less visionary, less dreamy version, more toy. Lacking a little more breath, and legatos due a some rushing moments, it's a more happy version , a less dramatic rendition. In part is due to the piano sound, to me it's so Kling Kling sound, must be Japanese, or an European Brand manufactured in Orient. He should only play in gorgeous instruments. In the slow tempos is where you can check the talent of a musician...
