Have you ever wondered what horses think about bits? Or how they feel when they change to the Nurtural Better Bitless Bridle? Please enjoy this radio interview as Zoe Brooks and Dell speak with renowned animal communicator Joy Turner from talkwithyouranimals.com. Zoe, as you likely know, is the inventor of the Nurtural Bitless Bridle. Dell is a thoroughbred being trained for dressage by Grand Prix coach Debora Adams. Enjoy!

  • I tried the Nurtural, but the rubber under the nose band would pull all the hairs off of my mare's sweet little pink nose. Also, the thing that attaches the cross under straps together really didn't work for us, she would lift her head in transitions and wasn't all that clear about turning and bending. But I didn't give up, I ordered the Dr. Cook bridle, and that fixed everything! Now she bends like a champ, her transitions are to die for and her pink nose still has all her hairs on it! Yay!

  • Hi, Glad you are still bitless!

Virtually all the problems you describe are typically associated with fitting problems. Most people experience the opposite when comparing the two brands, but all horses and all people are different.

Were we able to work with you to help resolve your issues? Usually one or two photos exchanged makes a ton of difference.

  • What's with the thumbs down on my comment? It's not like I insulted anyone.

  • ride without a bridle. Just attatch your reins to the halter. See how it goes. If your horse doesn't listen to you-you need to work on the ground with him/her more.

  • @wiccanwitch I just purchased Dr. Cooks Bitless Bridle and I havent recieved it but I have heard it equally as much controle as a bit but no pain, I'll let you know how my horse is once I recieve it/

  • It doesn't take a psychic to figure out from the caller's description what was happening and why the horse responded better to a bitless bridle. God people are stupid.

  • This is beyond stupid!! This lady is suppoed to be some kind of psychic for animals?? Zoe gave her all the information about the horse's situation, she just had to make up some details about what the horse was thinking!! I hope Zoe didn't have to pay for this!!!

  • because somebody came with the thought that being with the horse without equipment holding it in your power is impossible:)

  • You should!! You can return it if you don't like it, I believe! There's been so many successes and your horse can be happier, so what do you have to lose? :)

  • you are right, more ground work the better the horse is under the saddle.
