Yesterday when I came back from groceries I counted 20 plastic bags. I spent $130 CDN on groceries.
If I knew how many dollars people spent on groceries per year I could estimate how many plastic bags roughly the landfill would end up with. An insane high number I bet.
This disgusts me, and I'm going to try to keep some stirdy reusable textile bags from now on. I won't completely succeed right away, but I WILL phase out these stupid plastic bags.
