Trains In Deshler, Ohio On The Last Day Of 2011

Filmed on December 31, 2011. Set to HD. Bryce (Ohiofoamer7612) and I headed out to film trains on the last day of 2011. We got a few horn shows & we saw some neat locomotives. There was a crossing malfunction for the first few clips & the trains were put under restricted speed until the cleared the crossing. One interesting train we caught was the Blue CN Dash 8 #2464 with a great Lesile RS3L at 6:18 in the video. Even though it was blocked by an intermodal train I was happy to catch this engine as a few days latter it was involved in a wreck in Indiana & was scrapped on site sadly. I though this trip to Deshler was a great way to end the year 2011. Video property of metraF40PH163.

@dcarpine28 Thanks, yeah the meets were neat it's just too bad an intermodal train blocked the train with the Blue CN engine on it.

@awsomeRailFan Sadly the next day this engine was involved in a 3 trainderailment in Indiana. CSX scrapped this engine on site.
