Thanks King Crimson for all the masterpieces you've given to the humanity during the years. This is surely one of them.

No out of body experience yet, getting near an out of patience experience though. No, this is a cool track really.

Kif is commonly known as Hashish ;-)

cont'd....His life story makes him easily one of the most interesting people of the 20th century. William Burroughs moved to Tangeiers in the 1950's after reading Bowles' novel, just so could meet Bowles. It took a while but he and Bowles became life long friends. Paul Bowles died in 1999, aged 88.

well, i read back 3 pages and i didn't see it mentioned so here goes. this track is a musical interpretation of The Sheltering Sky written by the ex-patriot U.S. author, Paul Bowles in 1947. The novel is set in the Sahara, and is about obsession and madness. Bowles was always happy to admit that the writing of this book and others was always helped by the smoking of of Kif (dope) or the ingestion .marjoun (sweets made fron dope). Bowles lived most of his life in Tangier, Morroco.

@TheFearlessFreep i should be natural. no music lover can dislike this. and if he does, he's not a music lover.

no-one like this band, ever--even the best imitators.......
this music is like sacred text. all hail. transcends its genre. timeless and ancient.
