RFID EM4102 UNIT SETUP AND USAGE

This video shows a cheap and simple rfid unit which i purchased recently from ebay, it shows a few simple modifications also carried out to the unit, this unit uses EM4102 tags which are read only rfid passive tags,

@baller7867 ya could try saying please instead of Hey but no problem if you just type in rfid unit on ebay worldwide it will come straight up with these readers regards Richard

How did you find the 12x2 tag? Number of people say that the signal strength under the skin is quite poor. Personally I chose the 13x3.

@XeonXR6 read range with one of these readers is up to say 2 or 2.5inches but with a pen usb reader you will find it very difficult to read as they only have a small coil so find it hard to energize the transponder, They work just great for me as i prefer a short read range because of what im using them for. regards Richard P.s i would like to have a read/write transponder at some point so that i can store data but im going to see if they bring something out with a larger storage area first.

Hi there.

I´m also an inplantee and I just got the same reader off ebay, and I really like the idea of having the led come on only when a valid tag is in range. Could you please help me doing it? I´m absolutely clueless.
