I laid there, my hand to my chest, the raining coming down.
Cody and his gang ran towards me, there eyes red with anger.
I bit my lip, looking up, praying to god, begging for him to find a way to get me out of this hell hole.
At first everyone stayed silent, for a minute I had even thought theyd left, but as soon as I felt myself being dragged back into the dark corners of the alley, I looked up, and for some reason a picture of Joe popped out in my head.
I shook it off, sinking my nails down onto the concrete floor, someone.please.
Tears were pouring down my face, I tried to wipe them off with my sleeve.
I felt myself being lifted, it was that jerk, Cody again.
Called down babe, he whispered, his raspy voice making me shudder.
He began to unzip my sweatshirt, putting his hand under my shirt.
I jerked away from him, slapping his hand.
He glared at me, giving me a death stare.
Pulling something out of his pocket, he tightly held onto my arm, you see this?, he asked flipping a pocket knife open.
I gulped, nodding my head slowly.
He placed the fine knife against my skin, do you want me to hurt you?, he asked , lightly moving the blade away.
I looked down, my eyes closed, and tears streaming.
He quickly unbuttoned my shirt, pressing his knife against my stomach.
Now your going to let us do what we have to do, understand?, he said, his voice harsh and thick.
I shook my head, as he covered my mouth, preventing me from screaming.
He slid the knife right across my stomach, making it bleed.
Letting me go, I fell to the floor, holding onto my stomach.
The blood flowing and staining my sweater.
My vision was becoming a blur as the rain came down hard, Cody and his gang were kicking me.
I held onto my stomach, trying my best to stop if from bleeding.
Closing my eyes, I groaned, the pain becoming unbearable.
I felt someone shake me lightly.
I opened my eyes, and they suddenly grew with hope.
God had sent someone for me, a guy.
He grabbed my hand, helping me up slowly.
I really couldnt tell who it was, my vision went white causing me to fall over on him.

Its my dad!, he yelled, frightening me a bit.
I stepped back, shaking my head, b-b-but, I stuttered.
But what!, he yelled, coming at me.
I flinched, growing small, his tone of voice scaring me.
He studied me for a moment, sighing.
Im sorry, he whispered.

Opening my eyes , I saw that I was still in the ground, I probably mustve imagined that guy.
Looking around, I sat up slowly, Shes over there, I heard a raspy voice whisper.
I shook, looking down, please dont find me, I thought.
Once again I felt myself being pulled, but this time it was by that guy who had helped me before.
Run, he whispered into my ear.
Hope suddenly grew in me, Go!, he said pushing me onto the side walk.
I slightly smiled, looking back at him as Cody and his gang pulled him away.
My eyes widened as I ran over to him, I got of hold of his hand, but it was too late.
Tears were sliding down my cheek as he whispered, go.
I shook my head running towards my house.
My ankle was aching as I turned the corner.
I held my stomach, collapsing on the floor.

My palms were sweating as I headed to Demis house, Ive been so worried about her.
I stopped in front of her door, looking around, hearing someone whimper.
Hello?, I called out looking around.
I went around the back, following the noise, my eyes widened as I stood in shock.
-Demi-
Catching my breathe, I stood up slowly and headed towards my house.
I couldnt stop here, I couldnt and I wouldnt.
I held onto my stomach, almost there, I told myself, almost there.
-Joe-
I ran home as fast as I could, slamming the door behind me.
I saw Selena sleeping soundly on the couch, waking up to the sound of the door.
Joe!, she beamed as she ran over to me.
I hugged her tightly, hiding the cuts on my arm.
She pulled away, looking up at me, her eyes widened, what happened to your cheek Joe?
I shook my head, sliding my jacket off, nothing.
Is that your answer for everything?, Nicks dad hissed, he walked towards me, we need to talk.
I sighed quickly pecking Selena on the cheek, following him into the kitchen.
He sat down, pulling a crimpled sheet of paper out of his pocket.
Why are you still keeping intact with him?! I told you to STAY AWAY!, he said raising his voice.
I blocked him out, slowly nodding my head, yes, mhmm, yes.
He glared at me, you think this is a joke?! Hes dangerous! I dont want him near you!, he yelled throwing the piece of paper in the trash.
I looked up, glaring at him, Why? So you can ruin another part of my life? Do you not want me to be happy?!, I replied, yelling back at him.
He began to pace back and forth, hesitating to answer my question.
So?!
He turned to me, I dont want him to hurt you.
I scoffed, getting up, thats all you got!?, I sighed, running up to my room.
