    I think it was the fact that the engine being used for the full game wasn't capable of keeping it all together, so they had to dim it down....A HELL OF A LOT. I still love the game, but it would have been incredible if it came out like this (though there are some parts of the game which I think are better than on this).

    bethesda happened

    they cut the time and the budget and forced them to remake the game into the mess it is today

    what we have today is not the original brink just the product of development hell stress and desperation to get the game in on time
