Dont worry guys.
Phantom get's ressurected in Bayonetta and renamed Phantasmarae.
To drive the point home, they both have the same pose in their pictures and both of which are mostly made of lava (Phantom has stone-like legs, Phantasmarae is made of hair).

Phantom was definitely the coolest of all DMC bosses. It was also the most memorable for me.
