Know the technology, worked steam for 30 years on Ships. Find it very soothing and not a very noisy place to work. Lovely to see once again.

I believe the machine is an Ingersol-Rand air compressor predecessor. They have been very popular in world mining and there are eight or ten of this size in north Idaho, US.
Obviously, the brand is not the same and that suggests that the device was first crafted in Europe, the company received major investment and, as they say, the rest is history.
I had always wondered about history of the product. They were at the core of industrial greatness. Huge and they were taken deep underground.

@deaforganist001 Nice that like this old video. But it is not an air compressor but it is a steam engine. Label Stork made in Holland.
